Yes, we are currently 25 weeks with 15 weeks to go....what did we get done so far, lets see:
- NURSERY- Decided to use the guest bedroom as the nursery- so we have packed up and moved it over to the office..crap everywhere! boxes and bins- oh my!
- PAINT- The guest room is already a sage color (on top)and a BRIGHT green on the bottom but we will paint the bottom the same as the top
- FLOORING- we need to remove the rug in the guest room to put hard wood, hubby doesnt want to find out if bubs is allergic to carpet...rather do it now (prevention is better than a cure. lol).
- ACCOMMODATIONS- because of all the GREAT advice we have been getting, we are still researching, but with hubby he just wants to do Svelte and call it a day, he doesnt want any surprises else where especially in JULY heat and baby in tow...
- USA EXIT PROCESS- we will hire Poonam (poonam@pagl.in ) to help us and we have contacted her ahead of time to find out what we need to do on our end and she will keep us posted on the DNA stuff (if anyone needs her cost sheet feel free to email me). We also contacted Karin (LeishmanKR@state.gov) at the USA Embassy (Nancy's replacement).
- REGISTRY- we are browsing at local stores to decide on where to register, we are not having a baby shower but rather when we come home with the baby a baptism ceremony then party. So its between- Buy Buy Baby or Babies R Us...maybe both :)
- SURROGATE- we have been buying things to take to India for our surrogate and her family, kind of like a thank you package for each of them :)

Amazon's registry is super easy and if someone buys you the gift not from amazon it lets them update the list so no one else gets it.

Sounds great! - thanks for the contact in regards to the DNA process etc. I've just booked in @ Svelte and should arrive 31 July - if you're still around.... having said that, I have a feeling we might need to change our flights and get there a bit earlier......

Have fun on all the finishing touches. Nurseries are really fun! Agree on the rug part - area rugs are fine for little knees when they start crawling around but hardwood is much cleaner.
