Memorial Day Weekend recap

This post is probably long over due, but none the less here it is. Well with all the stress of everyday life, through in worries of surrogacy and in-laws (hehe) my hubby surprised me with a WONDERFUL weekend to Sands Casino in PA..then to Atlantic City in Jersey, then home to buy appliance for our kitchen in the works...here are a few pics to capture the moments:

The following weekend (June 5th) was the Belmont Stakes (NY), we met up with my parents and my sister, here are a few pics to capture that weekend:

It was a LONG and HOT day, but really nice and well spent with family.

Here are the before and demo portion of this update, the installers are coming Thursday and Friday to put the cabinets in then the following week we should have the counter people come and make a template and go from there:

I love my kitchen, my island, my decor..it works for me...however, i need a washer/dryer unit and i dont want it in the basement..so we are going to put it on the left side of the wall and then continue the cabinets and put the stove /microwave back in there and on the opposite wall will be the refridgerator with a built in pantry...see...well until then, i shall stay busy to prepare for when (not if) our baby comes...i am just so scared and nervous but i really want my bambino too...lets hope and pray guys...
